Precautions for Changing Water of Laser Cutting Water Cooler

As we all know, it is necessary to do a good job of low-temperature anti-freezing measures for laser cutting machines in winter, so what issues should be paid attention to when changing the water in winter? Please look at the following three options:

Keep the water cooler non-stop

In the case of local power failure, the chiller can be kept running, and at the same time, the low-temperature water and normal temperature water are set to about 5 ℃ to ensure that the cooling water is higher than the freezing point, while saving electricity.

Drain the cooling water in the machine

Drain the cooling water in the laser and the chiller after each use.

Drainage method of chiller:

Remove the water inlet pipe from the chiller, and then ventilate the water inlet (WATER IN) with compressed gas until the residual water in the chiller is blown out.

Laser Cutting Machine

Multi-mode laser drainage method:

Remove the water pipe of the water inlet from the laser, and then ventilate the water inlet (WATER IN) with compressed gas until the residual water in the water cooling pipe inside the laser is blown out from the water outlet.

Single-mode laser drainage method:

Remove the water pipe of the water inlet from the laser, and then ventilate the water inlet (WATER IN) with compressed gas until the residual water in the water cooling pipe inside the laser is blown out from the water outlet. Then plug the water inlet and outlet with water pipes (or rubber plugs) to prevent dust from entering the water lightly.

Replace cooling water with antifreeze

When the use environment is often power cut and does not have the conditions to drain the cooling water every day, antifreeze must be used.

Choice of antifreeze

Please choose an antifreeze with a suitable freezing point according to the local temperature. The choice of antifreeze is not that the lower the freezing point, the better, but according to the local minimum temperature, you can choose an antifreeze that is slightly lower than the local temperature.

It is recommended to use professional brand antifreeze to add. Note: any antifreeze can not completely replace deionized water, and it is not recommended to use it for a long time throughout the year. After the winter has passed, it is recommended to use deionized water or distilled water to clean the pipeline and restore to use deionized water or distilled water as the coolant.

If it is shut down for a long time (Such as the Spring Festival shutdown period), it is recommended to drain the cooling water in the equipment and use compressed air to blow off the residual water in the equipment, including the laser and chiller.
